Ingredients:
150 gms chicken breast
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 green chili, finely chopped
2 tablespoons chickpea flour (besan)
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
oil for cooking
Multigrain burger buns
Lettuce leaves
Tomato slices
Onion slices
Cucumber slices
Mint chutney and plain yogurt sauce for topping
Preparation
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, add chicken breast chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped green chili, mixed vegetables, chickpea flour, ginger paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Divide the chicken mixture into equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
Heat oil over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, add chicken breast to the pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the patties are golden brown and cooked through.
While the chicken breast is cooked , prepare the burger toppings. Wash and prepare the lettuce leaves, tomato slices, onion slices, and cucumber slices.
Toast the multigrain buns lightly, if desired.
Once the chicken breast are cooked, assemble the burgers. Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each burger bun.
Top the chicken slices with tomato slices, onion slices, and cucumber slices.
Add a dollop of mint chutney and plain yogurt sauce .
Cover the burgers with the top half of the burger buns.
Serve the chicken burgers hot.
