Ingredients

  • Ingredients:

    • 200g paneer , cut into cubes

    • 1 large capsicum, cut into cubes

    • 1 large onion, cut into cubes

    • 1 medium carrot, thinly sliced

    • 1 small green chili, finely chopped

    • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

    • 1 tablespoon oil for cooking

    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

    • 1 teaspoon coriander powder

    • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

    • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

    • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala

    • Salt to taste

    • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish


Preparation

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the vegetables and paneer:

    • Cut the paneer, bell pepper, onion, and carrot into cubes or slices .

    • Keep them aside.

  2. Cooking:

    • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

    • Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

    • Add ginger-garlic paste and green chili. Sauté for a minute until fragrant.

    • Add sliced onions and cook until they turn translucent.

    • Add sliced carrots and cubed capsicum. Cook for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly tender but still crisp.

    • Add the paneer cubes to the pan and gently mix with the vegetables.

  3. Seasoning:

    • Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt to taste.

    • Mix well to coat the paneer and vegetables evenly with the spices.

  4. Cooking further:

    • Cover the pan and let the paneer and vegetables cook for 5-6 minutes on low heat. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

    • If needed, sprinkle a little water to prevent drying out, but avoid adding too much water.

  5. Garnish and serve:

    • Once the paneer and vegetables are cooked through and coated with the spices, remove the pan from heat.

    • Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.

    • Serve hot .
