1 cup shredded cabbage
1 cup grated carrot
1 cup finely chopped cucumber
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped capsicum
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
1 green chili, finely chopped
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
Black pepper to taste
Preparation
Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage, grated carrot, chopped cucumber, chopped tomatoes, chopped capsicum, chopped onion, and chopped coriander leaves.
If you like your salad spicy, add finely chopped green chili to the bowl.
In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, extra oil, roasted cumin powder, black pepper, and salt to taste to prepare the dressing.
Pour the dressing over the salad and toss well until all the vegetables are evenly coated.
Serve the Kaushambi salad .
