Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves, washed and stems removed

  • 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves, washed

  • 1-2 green chilies, chopped

  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder

  • Salt to taste

  • Water, as needed

Preparation

Instructions:

  1. Blend Ingredients:

    • In a blender or food processor, combine fresh mint leaves, coriander leaves, chopped green chilies, grated ginger, garlic clove, lemon juice, roasted cumin powder, and a pinch of salt.

    • Blend until you get a smooth paste. Add a little water if needed to adjust the consistency.

  2. Taste and Adjust:

    • Taste the chutney and adjust the seasoning according to your preference. Add more salt or lemon juice if needed.

  3. Serve:

    • Transfer the mint chutney to a serving bowl.

    • Serve alongside Indian vegetables such as grilled or roasted veggies, fritters, or steamed vegetables.
