Ingredients:

  • 250g paneer , cut into cubes

  • 1 cup yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chili powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 onion, diced into chunks

  • 1 bell pepper (capsicum), diced into chunks

  • 1 tomato, diced into chunks

  • Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes)

Preparation

Instructions:

  1. Marinate Paneer:

    • In a large mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, kashmiri red chili powder, turmeric powder, ground coriander, ground cumin, garam masala, and salt to taste. Mix well.

    • Add paneer cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Allow the paneer to marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

  2. Prepare Vegetables:

    • Dice onion, bell pepper, and tomato into chunks.

  3. Skewer Paneer and Vegetables:

    • Thread marinated paneer cubes, onion chunks, bell pepper chunks, and tomato chunks alternately onto skewers.

  4. Cook on Gas Stove:

    • Heat gas stove over medium heat.

    • Lightly grease the pan with oil for cooking .

    • Place the skewers on the heated pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the paneer and vegetables are cooked and slightly charred.

  5. Serve:

    • Remove the paneer tikka skewers from the pan.

    • Serve hot with mint chutney .
