Ingredients:
250g paneer , cut into cubes
1 cup yogurt
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon kashmiri red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
1 onion, diced into chunks
1 bell pepper (capsicum), diced into chunks
1 tomato, diced into chunks
Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes)
Preparation
Instructions:
Marinate Paneer:
In a large mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, kashmiri red chili powder, turmeric powder, ground coriander, ground cumin, garam masala, and salt to taste. Mix well.
Add paneer cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Allow the paneer to marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Prepare Vegetables:
Dice onion, bell pepper, and tomato into chunks.
Skewer Paneer and Vegetables:
Thread marinated paneer cubes, onion chunks, bell pepper chunks, and tomato chunks alternately onto skewers.
Cook on Gas Stove:
Heat gas stove over medium heat.
Lightly grease the pan with oil for cooking .
Place the skewers on the heated pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the paneer and vegetables are cooked and slightly charred.
Serve:
Remove the paneer tikka skewers from the pan.
Serve hot with mint chutney .
